Halo Wars Collector's Edition is now available for pre-order. In addition to the standard retail version of the game, it will have:

• Three New Halo 3 Multiplayer Maps: Be one of the first to experience the Mythic Map Pack from Bungie, which includes three new maps, Assembly, Orbital, and Sandbox.
• Halo Wars: Genesis: This beautiful graphic novel by Phil Noto, Graeme Devine, and Eric Nylund chronicles the first military campaign against the Covenant. The novel centers around the Spirit of Fire on a mission to discover why the Covenant are so interested in the world of Harvest.
• Unique In-Game Vehicle: Command the "Honor Guard" Wraith.
• Six Leader Cards: Leaders possess elite skills which can turn the tides of battle.
• Spirit of Fire Patch: Start the journey as an official Spirit of Fire crew member.

Steam Cloud automatically saves your system settings and multiplayer configuration, allowing players to quickly and easily retrieve those settings from any PC that is connected to the Internet. Left 4 Dead will be the first title to support Steam Cloud.

Steam Cloud will eventually be able to save your game data also but unfortunately, it will not be featured in the intial version.

Here is the introduction to Left 4 Dead which Valve released on Halloween. You might have seen it already on Steam. The video was made by the same team that made "Meet the" for Team Fortress 2. A demo will be released on November 6th for preorder customers and on November 11th for everyone. Full game release will be on November 18th.

inspired by the Warcraft III mod called Defense of the Ancients, Gas Powered Games is currently developing Demigod, which is a hybrid of RTS and RPG elements. Players have the ability to choose heroes to use in battle. As battles are won, you will unlock the power of mystic artifacts. There are two classes in the game. "Assassin" will play like an action RPG, using its wide array of abilities and skills to defeat the enemy. "Generals" will be more RTS-based, building large armies or units and sending them into battle.

By preordering the game directly through the Demigod website, customers will gain access to the closed beta.

You know that addictive puzzle game called Peggle Extreme? The demo of Peggle Extreme is bundled with The Orange Box on Steam. Anyway, PopCap has announced that they will be releasing Peggle: Dual Shot for the Nintendo DS on March 3, 2008. We don't have any details on the game yet but with dual screens into play, I'm sure it will be an amazing game to play, especially when you're on the road or at school where you should be learning!
